Salary: £44,503–£61,192

Caledonian Maritime Assets Limited (CMAL) owns ferries, ports and harbour infrastructure necessary for vital ferry services serving many communities throughout the West Coast of Scotland, the Clyde Estuary and the Northern Isles. We aim to provide efficient, cost-effective, and safe vessels, harbours, and associated port infrastructure for operators, communities, and users in and around Scotland.

The procurement team at CMAL is responsible for providing expert advice, governance, and procurement support for all projects valued at £15,000 and above. CMAL’s Corporate Plan outlines our key projects for the upcoming years, which include the development of several ports and harbours, the construction of new piers and terminal buildings, and our ongoing vessel replacement programme.

Due to this continued organisational growth, we are expanding the team and recruiting for an additional Senior Procurement Officer to help deliver our ambitious plan.

  • Act as a procurement representative for CMAL at external meetings.
  • Support the Procurement Manager in preparing information and evidence for both internal and external assessments.

  • The ability to plan and prioritise own workload on a daily basis, manage and complete tasks within tight timescales.
  • A team player who is capable of building strong, effective relationships both internally and externally.

What’s in it for you?

You will be joining an experienced team within a rewarding and evolving working environment in a future-focused organisation.

  • An attractive salary.
  • 30 days annual leave plus 8 public holidays per year.
  • A defined benefit pension scheme based on your final salary.
  • A ferry travel pass for yourself, spouse/partner, and dependents.
