Upcoming Traffic Management Improvements at Kennacraig Ferry Terminal

CMAL is planning to carry out minor works at Kennacraig Ferry Terminal as part of the port’s Traffic Management Plan. We expect these works to take place in early 2026 to minimise disruption for visitors using the port.

The planned works will include:

  • Installation of new traffic signs
  • Installation of a new pedestrian guardrail
  • Implementation of additional traffic calming measures
  • Construction of a new footway and pedestrian crossing points
  • Refreshing of existing road markings

Please note that small areas of the car park will need to be closed prior to the start of the works. Any vehicles parked in the areas indicated on the attached plan must be removed by 30 October 2025.

Kennacraig Car Parking Spaces

These areas will be closed off once they are clear of parked vehicles, and we will reach out to vehicle owners in the coming weeks.

To avoid any inconvenience, please refrain from parking in these designated areas, as any vehicles left there may need to be relocated to facilitate the works.
