Progress Update: Demolition of Vacant CMAL Building at Uig

February 2026: Demolition contract awarded
9 March 2026: Demolition works commence
Late April 2026: Demolition works are planned to be complete

CMAL is pleased to provide an update on the now-vacant CMAL building at Uig. All necessary demolition consents have been granted, and the demolition contractor, Anderson Civil Engineering Limited, has now been appointed. Works commenced on Monday, 9 March, and are expected to be completed by the end of April.
