Mariners are advised that works to remove fender components from the linkspan berth on the ‘old’ RoRo pier at Brodick Ferry Terminal, Isle of Arran will be undertaken on 15 August 2018.
Contractors will be operating from the pier structure with a safety boat in attendance and works are scheduled to be completed within two days.
The works supervisor will liaise with the harbour manager and will monitor VHF channels 12 and 16.
All vessels navigating in the vicinity of Brodick Ferry Terminal during this time are advised to proceed with caution and regulate their speed to minimise the effects of wash accordingly.
Mariners are reminded that the ‘old’ RoRo pier is now permanently closed to berthing by all vessels. NTM 41/18 refers.
