Mariners are advised that on 02 July 2018, contractor Gareloch Support Services Ltd will be removing mooring blocks from above the high water mark at the rock revetment south of the top wires berth at Gourock Ferry Terminal, Firth of Clyde.
Works will be conducted from on board the workboat Mary M from where communication will be maintained with the ferry Masters, Harbour Operations staff and others as required via VHF radio channels 12 and 16 for the duration of the works. Works are out with ferry operating areas and are expected to be completed within 1-day.
All vessels navigating in the vicinity of Gourock Ferry Terminal on the above date are requested to do so with caution, maintain a lookout for the workboat and regulate their speed to minimise the effects of wash accordingly.
