Mariners are advised that the following special mark buoy within inner East Loch Tarbert, Isle of Harris has been permanently withdrawn.

Longitude 006⁰ 47.831’ West (WGS-84 datum)
Character of light Fl (4) Y 12s
Colour/Shape Yellow conical buoy
Range 2 nautical miles

 

The fore and aft moorings this buoy marked have also been permanently removed.

To avoid restricting the area required for the ferry to manoeuvre mariners are requested not to anchor in the now vacated area that lies opposite the ferry terminal pier.

Mariners are further advised the Isle of Harris Marina pontoons are now returned to their original position and the following navigation light thereon has been re-established in position.
