Complete 44/14

Mariners are advised that works to repair RoRo ferry berth fendering and other pier infrastructure at Armadale Ferry Terminal Pier will commence on Thursday 17th July 2014.

Contractors North West Marine will be operating from a support vessel MV Headcorn and the pier deck and works are anticipated to be completed within 21 days.

During this time a dive project be required and at all times operational working areas will be appropriately marked using Flag A “Diving Operations” and during the hours of darkness by the relevant navigation lights.

The contractor’s supervisor will monitor VHF Channel 16 and liaise with the port manager and Masters of the CalMac Ferries to ensure there is no disruption to scheduled ferry services.

All vessels navigating in the vicinity of Armadale Ferry Terminal must do so with caution and regulate their speed to minimise the effects of wash accordingly.
