| Mariners are advised that on 17 June 2019 a survey will be conducted of the vessel fendering at Lochboisdale Ferry Terminal Pier, South Uist. The works are scheduled to be completed within one day.
The survey will be undertaken from the pier and a small workboat and the contractor’s supervisor will liaise with the CalMac Harbour Manager and monitor VHF channels 12 and 16. Works will not impact on scheduled ferry services.
Mariners navigating near to Lochboisdale Ferry Terminal on this date are advised to maintain a look-out for the workboat, maintain a safe distance and pass at minimum speed to reduce vessel wash.
