Mariners are advised that commencing about 16:00hrs this afternoon a dive survey will be undertaken to inspect the hull of RoRo ferry MV Coruisk, while berthed at No.2 linkspan, Railway Pier, Oban Ferry Terminal.
Works will be undertaken from the shore and the Master of MV Coruisk is requested to ensure that an A-Flag / relevant navigation lights are displayed as required at times when divers are in the water. The dive supervisor will maintain VHF communication with the ferry and other vessels on Channel 12 throughout the dive period.
The work is expected to be completed 21:00hrs.
All vessels navigating in the vicinity of Oban Ferry Terminal between these times are requested to do so with caution, regulate their speed to minimise the effects of wash accordingly during the period of the survey and stay well clear of MV Coruisk.
