NTM 14/26 Navigation Buoys Established at Port Ellen

With reference to NTM 13/26, mariners are advised that the lit cardinal buoy recently washed ashore at Kilnaughton Bay, Port Ellen, Isle of Islay will not be returning to station.

It has been replaced in position and altered as follows.

Character	: Fl R 5s [previously Q(3)10s]
Range	: 3 miles

As an improvement in the information available to mariners a second lit aid to navigation buoy has also been established in position as follows.

Location description	: Islay. Port Ellen. Ceann Nan Ribheann.
Latitude	: 55º 37.285’ North (WGS-84 datum)
Longitude	: 006º 11.972’ West (WGS-84 datum)
Character	: Fl G 5s [previously Q(3)10s]
Range	: 3 miles

Topmark	: Green can
