NTM 12/26 Gourock and Wemyss Bay Ferry Terminals Linkspan Inspections

Mariners are advised that weather permitting, structural inspections of the linkspans at the undernoted locations will be conducted as per the schedule below.

  • Gourock Ferry Terminal, Tuesday 17th February 2026
  • Wemyss Bay Ferry Terminal, Wednesday 18th February 2026

The inspections will be undertaken during daylight hours from a small workboat that at times may be out of sight below the linkspans or pier structures.

The coxswain of the workboat will monitor VHF CH. 12/16 and will liaise with port staff and the ferries to ensure the works do not impact on scheduled ferry services.

At the respective locations and dates, it is requested all vessels navigate with caution and regulate their speed to minimise the effects of wash.

Unless otherwise promulgated, if the NTM is still marked as ‘Active’ it is still in force.
