In line with guidance from the UK and Scottish governments, we are closing down all construction and planned maintenance works across our harbours network.

From today, we have put in place steps to make these sites safe for the temporary closure period.  We expect all of these measures to be completed and all CMAL employees and contractors to be off site by the end of this week.  This applies to all infrastructure projects and maintenance and upgrade activity currently live at a number of our 26 harbours.

Given the lifeline nature of ferry services, we have a robust contingency plan in place to support any urgent repairs required during this lockdown period.

The majority of our employees have been working from home for the past week to 10 days.  We had a skeleton staff manning the phones in our Port Glasgow office.  However, from today, our office will be closed.  Please liaise directly with individual team members, who are well set-up to work remotely and will continue planning activity for ferries and harbours.

If you have a general enquiry please email us at as this inbox is monitored every day.
