Construction to begin on Tiree terminal improvement works
As previously announced, CMAL has appointed Mackenzie Construction Limited to deliver improvements to the landside infrastructure at Tiree’s ferry terminal in Gott Bay.
Work is now scheduled to begin on site on 24 August 2026, following a successful grant award from Scottish Ministers and the completion of the tender process.
The project will provide:
- An expanded vehicle marshalling area
- Improved traffic management arrangements
- A replacement terminal building
Mackenzie Construction Limited has been working with CMAL and key stakeholders to finalise the construction phasing and traffic management plans. These arrangements are intended to support continued access to the ferry terminal and manage disruption while the work is carried out.
Further information about the construction programme and any changes affecting terminal users will be shared as the project progresses.
