Mariners are advised that contractors Aspect Land & Hydrographic Surveys Ltd will be conducting a hydrographic survey of the CMAL harbour area at Largs Ferry Terminal.

The survey is planned to be undertaken from a small workboat ‘Mariner Sensor’. Weather permitting works are scheduled to commence on Monday 15th December and last for two days.

On Tuesday 16th December 2014 the contractor will also be undertaking a hydrographic survey of the CMAL harbour area at Brodick Ferry Terminal, Isle of Arran. The survey will be conducted from the small workboat ‘Remote Sensor’. Weather permitting works are scheduled to last for one day.

At both locations the survey team supervisors will monitor VHF Channel 16 and will liaise with the respective port managers and Masters of the CalMac ferries to ensure there is no disruption to scheduled ferry services.

All vessels navigating in the vicinity of Largs and Brodick Ferry Terminals on the days indicated are advised to do so with caution and regulate their speed to minimise the effects of wash accordingly.
