NTM 74/14 Bullhole Ferry Berthing Structure, Sound of Iona, Mull Fender Repairs

Mariners are advised that works to repair fendering at Bullhole Ferry Berthing Structure, Sound of Iona, Mull will commence on Wednesday 19th November 2014.

Contractors North West Marine will be operating from the workboat MV Meercat utilising a hiab and man basket. The works are anticipated to be completed within seven days.

The contractor’s supervisor will monitor VHF Channel 16 and liaise with the CalMac Ferries Ltd port manager and skippers of the CalMac ferry to ensure there is no disruption to scheduled ferry services.

All vessels navigating in the vicinity of Bullhole ferry berthing structure are advised to do so with caution and regulate their speed to minimise the effects of wash accordingly.
