NTM 71/14 Kennacraig Ferry Terminal Pier Fender Repairs

Mariners are advised that works to repair fendering on the south side (linkspan berth) of Kennacraig Ferry Terminal Pier, West Loch Tarbert, Argyll will commence on Wednesday 12th November 2014.

Contractors Alchemy Ltd will be operating from a workboat boat and weather permitting works are anticipated to be completed within three days.

The contractor’s supervisor will monitor VHF Channel 16 and liaise with the Port Manager and Masters of the CalMac Ferries to ensure there is no disruption to scheduled ferry services.

All vessels navigating in the vicinity of Kennacraig Ferry Terminal must do so with caution and regulate their speed to minimise the effects of wash accordingly.
