NTM 55/14 Cumbrae Tattie Pier Ferry Slipway, Isle of Cumbrae Establishment of RoRo Slipway Sector Light

Mariners are advised that Caledonian Maritime Assets Ltd have established a new navigation light to mark the Ro-Ro ferry slipway at Cumbrae Tattie Pier, Isle of Cumbrae, Firth of Clyde.

A statutory sanction has been received from the Commissioners of Northern Lighthouses and details are as follows:

The sector light’s primary purpose is a navigational aid for the Caledonian MacBrayne RoRo ferries who are the sole users of the slipway.
It should be noted that while the light will be displaying during periods of reduced visibility or darkness from 4th September, further works and testing are required to complete the installation and it should not be used for navigation until further notice.
