Complete 50/14

Mariners are advised that works to repair fendering at Bullhole Ferry Berthing Structure, Sound of Iona, Mull will commence on Tuesday 5th August 2014.

Contractors North West Marine will be operating from a workboat utilising a hiab and man basket, with a safety boat in attendance. The works are anticipated to be completed within seven days.

The contractor’s supervisor will monitor VHF Channel 16 and liaise with the Port Manager and Masters of the CalMac ferry to ensure there is no disruption to scheduled ferry services.

All vessels navigating in the vicinity of Bullhole Ferry Berthing Structure must do so with caution and regulate their speed to minimise the effects of wash accordingly.
