NTM 22/15 Wemyss Bay Ferry Terminal Linkspan and Pier Fender Inspection

Mariners are advised that work to inspect the linkspan and pier fendering at Wemyss Bay Ferry Terminal is due to commence on Tuesday, 14th April 2015, it is anticipated the inspections will be completed within one day.

CMAL’s contractors, CH2M Hill will be operating from the pier deck and a workboat. The contractor’s supervisor will liaise with the Port Manager and Masters of the CalMac Ferries to ensure there is no disruption to scheduled ferry services. VHF channel 16 will also be monitored.

All vessels navigating in the vicinity of Wemyss Bay Ferry Terminal must do so with caution and regulate their speed to minimise the effects of wash accordingly.
