NTM 21/26 Establishment of CMAL as Statutory Harbour Authority at Ardrossan Harbour

Mariners are advised that from 00:01 on the 17th June 2026, CMAL will assume responsibility as the Statutory Harbour Authority for Ardrossan Harbour under the provisions of The Ardrossan (Transfer of Undertaking) Harbour Revision Order 2026.
The CMAL board have been confirmed as Duty Holder for Ardrossan Harbour. Details can be found on CMAL’s website found here https://www.cmassets.co.uk/about-us/our-board/
The appointed Harbour Master is Edward Dowds and can be contacted at operations@cmassets.co.uk or 01475 749920.
Calmac Ferries Ltd remain the Harbour Operator and Ardrossan Harbour will maintain a listening watch on VHF CH 12/16.
All existing marine procedures, reporting requirements and navigational arrangements remain unchanged unless otherwise notified.
Unless otherwise promulgated, if the NTM is still marked as ‘Active’ it is still in force.
