CMAL’s Principal Contractor George Leslie will be returning in early June to complete the demolition and removal of the remaining underwater concrete structures and debris on the seabed.
The work will be carried out by an excavator on a barge, with other barges being used to remove materials from the site. Depending on weather and sea conditions, they will be at Brodick for approximately 4 to 6 weeks.
Works are planned to avoid impacting the scheduled ferry service.
