We’re inviting communities to learn about our plans to replace the MV Loch Frisa and MV Isle of Mull, which operate on the Oban–Craignure route, with modern, low-emission vessels whilst improving the accessibility, resilience, and reliability of the service.

Together with CalMac Ferries and Transport Scotland, we’re in the early data-gathering stages of the New Mull Vessels Project (NMVP) and have now planned a series of public engagement events for December 2025, during which we’ll discuss topics such as capacity and the retail offering.
