CMAL is holding a stakeholder information event in Port Ellen to provide factual information about planned harbour works and the associated programme.

The event is intended to share details of the scope and timings of the works, and to explain how port operations and ferry services are expected to be managed during construction.
Purpose of the works
The session will outline the nature of the proposed works at Port Ellen harbour and the operational requirements they are intended to address.
Information to be shared at the event
The event will provide information on:
- The indicative programme and sequencing of works on site
- Potential impacts on harbour operations, including vessel movements
- Impacts on ferry services and the coordination arrangements in place with CalMac
- The approach to stakeholder communications and how updates will be shared
Information boards will be available throughout the session, with representatives on hand to provide clarification and answer questions.
