NTM 33/23 Largs and Brodick Bathymetric Surveys

Complete NTM 33/23

Mariners are advised that surveyors Aspect Land & Hydrographic Surveys will be undertaking high-resolution bathymetric surveys of the following areas within the Firth of Clyde.

  • 09 August 2023 – Largs Ferry Terminal Inner Harbour
  • 10 August 2023 – Brodick Ferry Terminal Demolished Old Pier location

Works at each location should be completed within one-day and will be undertaken from survey vessel Coastal Sensor.

The survey vessel will maintain VHF radio communication with CalMac Ferries Ltd, and others as required throughout all survey works. Surveys will be completed between sailings of the scheduled ferry services to avoid any disruption.

All vessels navigating within both locations during this time are requested to maintain a lookout for the survey vessel and when observed please pass at a safe distance and speed to minimise the effects of wash on the vessel.

Unless otherwise promulgated, if this NTM is still marked as ‘Active’ it remains in force.
