With reference to NTM 25/03, mariners are advised that from 21st June 2023 a dive project in support of the demolition works will commence at the Old Pier at Brodick Ferry Terminal, Isle of Arran.

The dive will be conducted from barge CW-6 which will display an A-flag while divers are in the water and will maintain a listening watch on VHF CH16.

The dive project is initially scheduled for 5-days but there will be further dives undertaken during the period of the demolition project. During this time all vessels navigating in the vicinity of Brodick Ferry Terminal and the Old Pier are requested to maintain a look-out for an A-flag and when displayed proceed with caution and regulate their speed to minimise the effects of wash accordingly.

Unless otherwise promulgated, information regarding the current status of NTMs can be found at https://www.cmassets.co.uk/harbours/notice-to-mariners where, if the NTM is still marked as ‘Active’ it is still in force.
