SEABED SAMPLING

 

Mariners are advised that sediment sampling works are planned from Saturday 3rd June for approximately 3 days at and around Colonsay Ferry Terminal.

Works are to be carried out by the vessel Challenger of Leith who will display all appropriate signals and lights during operational periods and will maintain a listening watch on VHF CH16.

 

All mariners are requested to maintain a lookout for the working vessel and pass at a safe distance and speed to minimise the effects of wash on the vessel.

Unless otherwise promulgated, information regarding the current status of NTMs can be found at https://www.cmassets.co.uk/harbours/notice-to-mariners where, if the NTM is still marked as ‘Active’ it is still in force.
