Mariners are advised that during the morning of 15 May 2023, fender repair works will commence at Mishnish Pier, Tobermory Bay, Isle of Mull and be ongoing for 3-days.

Works will be conducted from both the pier and by commercial divers in the water, the presence of which will be indicated by an A-flag displayed on the pier. A small safety boat will be in attendance and works are scheduled to be undertaken only during daylight hours at which time the Mishnish Pier will be closed to all vessels.

The works supervisor and dive contractor will liaise each day with Tobermory Harbour Association and CalMac Ferries Ltd and maintain a radio watch on channels 12 and 16.

When works are ongoing, mariners navigating in the vicinity of the Mishnish Pier are requested to do so with caution, regulate their speed to minimise the effects of wash and stay well clear of the pier.
