Caledonian Maritime Assets Limited (CMAL) is urging the local community to share their views on proposed options for a new ferry terminal for Lochboisdale.

The proposals include an improved terminal layout, increased marshalling capacity, a larger terminal building, car and cycle parking, EV charging points, and drop-off and pick-up points.

CMAL is leading the delivery of the project and five proposed options have been developed.  CMAL is seeking community feedback through a survey, which has been extended for submissions until 11.30pm on Sunday 17 July 2022.

Details of the proposed options and the survey can be accessed online at

Paper versions can be requested by emailing or by calling 01475 749920 or writing to CMAL, Municipal Buildings, Fore Street, Port Glasgow, PA14 5EQ.  Completed paper surveys should be returned no later than 17 July 2022.
