Tender returns have been received from a number of shipyards for the Detailed Design and Construction of two LNG fuelled ROPAX ferries of approximately 100m in length. These ferries are being designed to be capable of operation on a number of the Clyde and Hebrides Ferry Service routes. The evaluation of the tenders will take up to two months.
