Caledonian Maritime Assets Limited (CMAL) is hosting a second public webinar early next month to update communities on plans to replace up to seven small vessels.

The online meeting will provide a further update on the feasibility studies for the new vessels.  A Q&A session will take place at the end of the presentation and CMAL is encouraging people to share their views and comments.

The webinar will take place on Thursday 2nd February 2023 between 18:30 and 20:00 on Microsoft Teams. Anyone with an interest in the project is welcome to join, and should register their interest at https://www.cmassets.co.uk/project/svrp/

Jim Anderson, director of vessels at CMAL said:

“Following the initial public webinar in August, we are now able to share a further update on the feasibility studies. We are keen to get feedback from local communities and to answer their questions.”

Representatives from CMAL, CalMac Ferries Limited and Transport Scotland will be in attendance. A copy of the presentation, the recording and an updated Q&A document will be available on the CMAL website after the event at https://www.cmassets.co.uk/project/svrp/
