Complete NTM 73/20

Mariners are advised that weather permitting on 30 November 2020, Partrac Ltd are to deploy a seabed mooring frame containing an acoustic measuring device at Gourock Ferry Terminal, Gourock Bay, Firth of Clyde. Its purpose is to measure the water column current profile and surface waves.

The seabed frame is 1.5 x 1.5m and stands 0.8m proud of the seabed. It will be established at the undernoted location and be marked by a lit 1.2m diameter special mark buoy.

The device is to be deployed by the workboat vessel Mary M, operated by GSS Marine Ltd and it will be established in this position for 12 months.

During this time, it is requested where possible passing vessels maintain a 200m distance from the surface marker buoy.
