NTM 13/26 Gourock Bathymetric Survey

Mariners are advised that on 9 June 2025, surveyors Aspect Land & Hydrographic Surveys will commence a bathymetric survey of Gourock Bay, using the survey vessel Coastal Sensor.
The work is expected to take two days, weather permitting.
Communication will be maintained with CalMac Ferries Ltd, and others as required via VHF radio throughout all survey works. Surveys will be completed between sailings of the scheduled ferry services to avoid any disruption.
All vessels navigating in the vicinity of Gourock Ferry Terminal during this time are requested to maintain a lookout for the survey vessel and pass at a safe distance and speed to minimise the effects of wash on the vessel.
Unless otherwise promulgated, if the NTM is still marked as ‘Active’ it remains in force.
