NTM 76/16 Port Ellen Harbour Hydrographic Survey

Mariners are advised that weather permitting contractors Aspect Land & Hydrographic Surveys Ltd will undertaking a hydrographic survey of the CMAL harbour area at Port Ellen, Isle of Islay.

The survey will be undertaken from a small workboat commencing on Thursday 01 December 2016. The works are scheduled to last up to four days.

The survey team supervisor will monitor VHF Channel 16 and will liaise with the port manager and Masters of the CalMac ferries to ensure there is no disruption to scheduled ferry services.

All vessels navigating in the vicinity of Port Ellen harbour on the days indicated are advised to do so with caution and regulate their speed to minimise the effects of wash accordingly.
