Mariners are advised that during early afternoon on 23 August 2021 a dive inspection will be undertaken of the Gallanach Ferry Slipway, Sound of Kerrera, Oban.

Works will be conducted from the slipway and are scheduled to be completed within 1-day. There will be no disruption to timetabled ferry services.

An A-Flag will be displayed when divers are in the water. The dive supervisor will also maintain VHF communication on channel 16 and liaise with the ferry master and the local port manager.

Mariners are requested to maintain a lookout for the A-flag and when displayed, navigate with caution, regulating the speed of your vessel to minimise the effects of wash and staying well clear of the slipway.
