Mariners are advised that commencing on 09 August 2021 surveyors Aspect Land & Hydrographic Surveys will be conducting high resolution bathymetric and geophysical surveys at Gourock Ferry Terminal, Gourock Bay, Firth of Clyde.

The work is expected to be completed within 2-days and will be undertaken from survey vessel Coastal Sensor II.

Communication will be maintained with CalMac Ferries and others as required via VHF radio on channels 12 and 16 and surveys will be completed between scheduled ferry sailings to avoid any service disruption.

While the surveys are ongoing, all vessels navigating in the vicinity of Gourock Ferry Terminal are requested to do so with caution, stay well clear of the survey vessel and regulate their speed to minimise the effects of wash.
