Mariners are advised that weather permitting a condition survey of pier and linkspan structures will be undertaken at Wemyss Bay Ferry Terminal, Firth of Clyde on 01 October 2020.

Engineers will be operating from the pier and a small workboat that at times may be out of sight beneath the structure. The workboat coxswain will liaise with the Harbour Manager and ferry Masters to ensure there is no disruption to scheduled ferry services. VHF channels 12 and 16 will also be monitored and the inspection is scheduled to be completed within one day.

All vessels navigating in the vicinity of Wemyss Bay Ferry Terminal on this date are advised to maintain a look-out for the workboat, proceed with caution and regulate their speed to minimise the effects of wash accordingly.
