NTM 44/20 LOCHALINE FERRY TERMINAL BERTHING AREA DIVE SURVEY

Further to NTM 23/20, with dredging now completed at Lochaline Ferry Terminal, Morven, mariners are advised a dive survey will be undertaken on 11 August 2020.

Works to inspect the ferry berthing area will be conducted from the slipway and pier structure and flag A ‘Diving Operations’ will be displayed at all times when divers are in the water. While the A Flag is displayed the pier will be closed to berthing by all vessels and the dive supervisor will maintain communication as required via VHF radio throughout the dive project.

Work is expected to be completed within one day.

All vessels navigating in the vicinity of Lochaline Ferry Terminal on the above date are requested to do so with caution, maintain a lookout for the dive team and regulate their speed to minimise the effects of wash accordingly during the period of the survey.
