NTM 06/21 Colonsay Ferry Terminal Pier and Fender Repair Works

Mariners are advised that works to repair the pier and fenders at Colonsay Ferry Terminal Pier, Scalasaig, Isle of Colonsay remain ongoing.

Works are being predominantly undertaken from the pier deck and temporary scaffolding. A safety boat will be in attendance.

Other than for scheduled ferry operations the pier will be closed to berthing by all vessels between the hours of 08:00 to 17:00.

Works are expected to be completed by the mid-April 2021.

All vessels navigating in the vicinity of Colonsay Ferry Terminal during this time are requested to do so with caution, maintain a lookout for the contractors and safety boat and regulate their speed to minimise the effects of wash accordingly.
