Complete 44/15

Mariners are advised that works to inspect the linkspan at Gourock Ferry Terminal will be undertaken on Wednesday 19th August 2015. It is anticipated the inspection will be completed within one day.

CMAL’s consulting engineers, CH2M Hill, will be operating from the pier deck and a workboat supplied by NG Builders Ltd. The workboat which will operate around and under the structure.

The consultant’s supervisor will liaise with the Port Manager and skippers of the Argyll and Kilcreggan Ferries to ensure there is no disruption to scheduled ferry services. VHF channel 12 and 16 will also be monitored.

All vessels navigating in the vicinity of Gourock Ferry Terminal are advised to do so with caution and regulate their speed to minimise the effects of wash accordingly.
