NTM 63/18 Largs Bay Firth Of Clyde Bathymetric Survey

Mariners are advised that contractors Aspect Land & Hydrographic Surveys Ltd will be undertaking a bathymetric survey of an area of Largs Bay, Firth of Clyde.

The limit of the works will be contained within an area defined by a line drawn from Largs Ferry Terminal pier head to a point approximately 400m north, thereafter due east to the MHWS, south following the line of MHWS to a point due east of the Largs pier head.

The survey is scheduled to be undertaken during week commencing 30 July 2018 and will be completed within one day.

The survey team supervisor will monitor VHF channels 12 and 16 and will liaise with the Harbour Manager and Master of the CalMac ferry to ensure there is no disruption to scheduled ferry services.

All vessels navigating in the vicinity of Largs Bay during this period are advised to maintain a lookout for the survey vessel and proceed with caution, regulating your speed to minimise the effects of wash accordingly.
