Aspect Surveys will be operating from the quayside and from a small purpose-built survey vessel, ‘Enviro Sensor’. The workboat will be operated along the length of the quayside. Their supervisor will liaise with the Port Manager and Masters at Caledonian MacBrayne. VHF channel 12 and 16 will also be monitored.

CMAL’s Main Contractor, George Leslie Ltd will oversee the coordination of all onsite works.

The dredging works will be undertaken by George Leslie Ltd using a long-reach land based excavator, between the slipway and the pier.

All vessels navigating in the vicinity of Lochranza Ferry Terminal are advised to maintain a look-out for the workboat, proceed with caution and regulate their speed to minimise the effects of wash accordingly.
