Complete 40/15

Mariners are advised that work to inspect the linkspan at Wemyss Bay Ferry Terminal is due to commence on Wednesday 29th July 2015, it is anticipated the inspection will be completed within one day.

CMAL’s consulting engineers, CH2M Hill, will be operating from the pier deck and a workboat supplied by GSS Ltd. The inspection will be undertaken from a workboat which will operate around and under the structure.

The consultant’s supervisor will liaise with the Port Manager and Masters of the CalMac Ferries to ensure there is no disruption to scheduled ferry services. VHF channel 16 will also be monitored.

All vessels navigating in the vicinity of Wemyss Bay Ferry Terminal must do so with caution and regulate their speed to minimise the effects of wash accordingly.
