Complete NTM 32/17

Mariners are advised that on the dates and times indicated below Caledonian MacBrayne ferries will be conducting berthing trials at the new Brodick Ferry Terminal pier, Isle of Arran.

MV Isle of Arran

High tide trials are scheduled to take place between 20:30 and 22:00, Wednesday 21 June.
Low tide trials are scheduled to take place between 20:30 and 22:00, Monday 26 June.


MV Caledonian Isles

High tide trials are scheduled to take place between 13:30 and 16:15, Monday 26 June.
Low tide trials are scheduled to take place between 08:00 and 22:00, Tuesday 27 June.

With reference to NTM 06/17, mariners are reminded that to ensure safety during the construction works the pier remains closed to berthing by all unauthorised vessels. Unless an emergency exists only those vessels engaged in the works or authorised to undertake berthing trials are permitted to berth on the structure or enter the designated works area.

During the periods of the berthing trials the following special mark buoys that designate the working area of the pier will be temporarily removed.

It is requested that unless authorised to enter this area all vessels maintain a safe distance, passing at minimum speed to reduce vessel wash.
