As a result of a vessel collision resulting in extensive damage to Kerrera ferry slipway berthing structure, Sound of Kerrera, mariners are advised it is closed for berthing by any unauthorised vessels until further notice to prevent further damage to the structure or to vessels.

Authorised vessels are the local scheduled ferry and any others engaged in routine inspection or repairs to the berthing structure.

All mariners are further advised to adhere to the warning signage and fencing that has been installed and should be aware that activities at the structure are monitored.
