Mariners are advised that contractors North West Marine Ltd are presently installing a trot of 6 x no. moorings at Cardingmill Bay, Sound of Kerrera.

The location of the works is on a line located by joining the points:

56° 24.645’ N  005°29.430’ W
56° 24.621’ N  005°29.486’ W
56° 24.597’ N  005°29.543’ W
56° 24.573’ N  005°29.600’ W
56° 24.549’ N  005°29.659’ W
56° 24.523’ N  005°29.720’ W

Works should be completed within the next 7-days and all vessels navigating in the vicinity of Cardingmill Bay are advised to maintain a look-out for the workboat, proceed with caution and regulate their speed to minimise the effects of wash accordingly.
