NTM 08/19 Oban Ferry Terminal MV Isle of Mull Dive Survey

Mariners are advised that commencing about 18:30hrs this evening a dive survey will be undertaken to inspect the hull of RoRo ferry MV Isle of Mull, while berthed at No.1 linkspan, Railway Pier, Oban Ferry Terminal.

Works will be undertaken from the shore and the Master of MV Isle of Mull is requested to ensure the relevant navigation lights are displayed at all times when divers are in the water. The dive supervisor will maintain VHF communication with Isle of Mull and other vessels as required throughout the dive period.

The work is expected to be completed within a number of hours.

All vessels navigating in the vicinity of Oban Ferry Terminal this evening are requested to do so with caution, regulate their speed to minimise the effects of wash accordingly during the period of the survey and stay well clear of MV Isle of Mull.
