Tha dà phrìomh sheòrsa cìse ann:
- Cìsean Laighe – sa chumantas air am pàigheadh gach turas achleachdas soitheach goireas agus gu math coltach ri ‘cìsparcaidh’. Tha an ìre de chìs stèidhte air ‘Gross RegisterTonnage’ (GRT) an t-soithich no air fad an t-soithich.
- Cìsean Cidhe – canar uaireannan cìsean trafaig no cìsean puirtriutha seo. Tha iad a’ gabhail a-steach luchd-siubhail,carbadan,caragò/bathar a tha a’ dol tarsainn a’ chidhe airson a dhol airbòrd soithich no tighinn dhith. Tha na cìsean, mar as trice, airan pàigheadh a rèir gach ionad de bhathar, msaa.

Tha cosgaisean teirgidh cuideachd air angabhail a-steach, cho math ri cosgaisean cumail suas aguscàraidh. Faodaidh na cosgaisean an leudachadh chun an acarsaidsan fharsaingeachd, a’ gabhail a-steach nithean leithid glanadhgrùnnd, taicean luingearachd, msaa. A frequent user, for the purpose of qualifying for a volume discount, is defined as follows:
- More than 100 calls per annum at any one CMAL facility;
- Vessel (or vessels) belong to the same operator;
- Schedule of calls (i.e. a timetable) is agreed with CMAL prior to the commencement of that schedule; and
- CMAL’s standard terms and conditions for harbour use are adhered to.
For customers making more than 100 calls at a port in a year, the maximum level of berthing dues discount applicable to that customer for that port will also apply to the pier/traffic dues at that port until 31/03/2013. Therafter there will be no discount on pier/traffic dues.
The discounted pier/traffic due charges for Frequent Users are as follows:

Discounts are only available to customers who pay tonnage related berthing dues. Where a customer has a number of vessels with varying gross register tonnages which call at a port, the average GRT per call will be used in the berthing dues calculation. The average GRT is calculated as follows:

Vessels which are engaged in a commercial activity but which are less than 25 metres in length and which satisfy the following criteria will be charged the composite rates shown in the ‘Charges for Fishing Vessels’ section:
- Have a Gross Register Tonnage of less than 25 tonnes; or
- Have no Gross Register Tonnage; or
- No Gross Register Tonnage is available.

Composite charges are also available for shorter time periods. The annual composite charge is divisible as follows:
- For a 1 month season ticket – 15% of the annual composite rate is payable; and
- For a 6 month season ticket – 65% of the annual composite rate is payable.
The purchase of a season ticket covers the vessel composite dues for activity at all CMAL owned facilities for the duration of the ticket. This includes the use of small vessel moorings (where available)
Season tickets must be purchased in advance and are non-refundable. For fishing vessels not involved in fishing related activities the applicable rates will be the ‘Berthing etc.’ element of the composite charges.
Charges for Pleasure Craft
Pleasure craft are defined as vessels which do not have a Gross Register Tonnage and which are not engaged in activities which lead to commercial gain.

Short Stay
Pleasure craft requiring a short stay visit to a maximum of 4 hours between 0800 and 1800 will be subject to a nominal charge of £5.00, irrespective of length of vessel.
Small Vessel Moorings (for pleasure craft)
Where available, small vessels moorings are provided for vessels with a displacement of up to 15 tonnes. Charges for the use of small vessel moorings are as follows:-
- Overnight £10.00 per visit; and
- Short stay (see above) £5.00 per visit. Visits in excess of 4 hours will be charged the overnight rate
Use of small vessel moorings is included in the cost of a CMAL Season Ticket
Other Charges
Water charges
Only charged when a composite rate or frequent user discount does not apply and only for water which is taken by hose direct from the standpipe on to the vessel’s water tank(s) - £2.00 per tonne, or part thereof, subject to a minimum charge of £10.00.
Slipway charges
For pleasure craft only (commercial craft pay the General Charges) - £4.00 per complete operation i.e. includes one launching and one recovery of vessel.
Weighbridge Charges
Vehicles (not presented for shipment) - £20.00 per weigh.
Notes
- Pier / traffic dues and commodity charges apply to goods/items shipped AND landed.
- General Charges apply to all vessels not covered by the other defined categories and which are not exempt (in law) from paying pier and harbour charges.
- No charges will apply for vessels operated by the RNLI, vessels which are involved in an emergency or which are seeking shelter due to stress of weather.
- All charges, discounts and information contained in this schedule will be reviewed on an annual basis.
- Priority for overnight berthing will be given to vessels providing the lifeline ferry services. Other overnight berthing will be accommodated whenever possible.
- The duration of a ‘call’ is defined as a period of 4 days or part thereof. Any vessel remaining alongside after this period will be charged the initial charge for each subsequent 4 day period or part thereof.
- Where vessels are not covered by any of the composite charges shown, the owner/operator of the vessel will be responsible for the payment of both the pier and berthing dues for the vessel i.e. one combined charge (pier dues plus berthing dues) will be raised per vessel visit.
- Vessels which are owned and/or operated by registered charities will receive a 40% discount on the published rates when the following conditions will apply:
• Schedule of calls (i.e. a timetable) is agreed with CMAL prior to the commencement of that schedule; and
• CMAL’s standard terms and conditions for Harbour Use are adhered to.
