Second hybrid ferry launches on the Clyde

A cutting edge ferry, which is the second of two unique ‘hybrid’ vessels, was launched on the Clyde today at Ferguson's shipyard in Port Glasgow. The ferries are being built following a Scottish Government investment worth over £20 million, which has continued the proud heritage and tradition of shipbuilding on the Clyde.

NTM 27/13 Wemyss Bay Ferry Terminal Fender Repair Dive Operation

Mariners are advised that CMAL have commissioned NG Builders to commence a timber fender repair at Wemyss Bay Ferry Terminal pier which weather permitting, will be commencing on Tuesday 14th May 2013 and is estimated to take approximate 3-days.
