STAG Appraisal: Lismore Access Priorities

CMAL have been instructed by the Scottish Government to commission a STAG appraisal to review access options for Lismore.

By commissioning Scottish Transport Appraisal Guidance on Lismore access priorities, potential options for the route will be developed in consultation with local communities and stakeholders, bearing in mind the Scottish Government’s objectives for the environment, safety, economy, integration and accessibility.

Lismore STAG findings

CMAL has published their findings from the Lismore STAG study, which they presented to residents of Port Appin and Lismore at the beginning of April. The STAG was undertaken by CMAL on behalf of the Scottish Government in partnership with Calmac Ferries Ltd and Argyll and Bute Council. The findings will now feed into the Scottish Government Ferry Review, due to be published later this year.
