A project has been set up to consider what the potential onshore requirements might be of an offshore wind farm off Tiree.

As the harbour owner and Harbour Authority, CMAL are pleased to contribute to this important exercise

Sewerage pipe failure near Tobermory Ferry Terminal

CMAL has been made aware that a mains sewerage pipe has failed in the vicinity of Tobermory Ferry Terminal, Isle of Mull, which has resulted in some minor discharge into the water surrounding the terminal. Although full responsibility for the incident and repair rests solely with Scottish Water, CMAL will closely monitor progress and make a further statement in due course if required. We must stress that there is no adverse impact on ferry services from the terminal.

Kennacraig Ferry Terminal – New berthing dolphin open

28 April 2011

CMAL are pleased to announce that the new berthing dolphin at Kennacraig was opened for operation on Wednesday 27th April 2011. As well as the dolphin being opened, the south berth and linkspan were also re-opened in time for the evening sailing from Port Askaig to Kennacraig.
